You can take an IELTS test on Computer or on Paperat one of our official test centres in Indonesia.
Whether you choose IELTS on Computer or the Paper version, you will be taking exactly the same IELTS test, with the same test content and structure and the same IELTS band score system. The only difference is that you can choose to type your answers or write them on paper – whichever suits you best.
IELTS on Computer
You will answer the IELTS Listening, IELTS Reading and IELTS Writing sections on a computer at one of our official test centres. The IELTS Speaking test will still be face-to-face with a trained IELTS Examiner, as this is the most effective way to assess your speaking skills.
With computer-delivered IELTS, you will now have more test dates to choose from - and your results will be available in 1-5 days*.
Computer-delivered IELTS tests are available in Jakarta, Jakarta Barat, Jakarta Utara, Depok, Bogor, Bandung, Medan, Medan Central, Padang, Semarang, Solo, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar, Makassar, and Manado.
Check our IELTS on Computer test location here.
* Results for Computer-delivered IELTS are usually available in 1 to 5 days after you finish all components of your test. Please note that if the result release day falls on a weekend or a public holiday, the test report form (TRF) will be distributed on the next working day.
IELTS on Paper
If you choose this option, you will write the answers to the IELTS Listening, IELTS Reading and IELTS Writing sections on paper. The IELTS Speaking test will be conducted face-to-face with a trained IELTS Examiner.
Your results will be available up to 13 calendar days after the test date.
If you have any special requirements, you should take the paper-based test.
IELTS on Paper test is currently available in Jakarta.
