Do you want to study or work in Australia? IELTS can help to get you there!
IELTS is accepted by the Australian immigration service as well as professional associations, schools, and colleges. To study or work in Australia you need an Australian visa. You may need to prove that your English language skills meet the requirements either set by the Australian Department of Home Affairs (DoHA) or by an employer or educational institution.
Additionally, Australia opens the opportunity for Indonesian citizens aged 18-30 years who wish to travel and work for 12 months in Australia to obtain a work and holiday visa (Working Holiday Visa). This visa also allows you to add to your holiday expenses for temporary or casual work periods. Apart from requiring a letter from the Directorate General of Immigration, you must attach the results of the IELTS English language test with a score of 4.5.
However, the IELTS scores you need will depend on where you’re applying. For DoHA, you will acquire more visa-related points depending on your level of English.
You have two test options, IELTS Academic or IELTS General Training. Your choice of test will depend on the requirements set by the organisation. These tests evaluate your English language skills on a scale of 0 to 9 in each of four skills: Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking.
