Trevor Breakspear, Innovation Projects Manager, East Asia Assessment Solutions Team, British Council
Trevor Breakspear has 18 years of teaching and training experience within the Chinese ESL and EAP contexts and over 10 years of project management experience within localisation and assessment fields. Trevor currently works in an innovations role within the British Council’s East Asia Assessment Solutions Team, responsible for coordinating and presenting academic and stakeholder research into new test concepts and the development new assessment solutions leveraging both AI and human raters, as well as working with MoE partners in linking tests to the new Chinese Standards of English proficiency framework (CSE).
